Can You Buy an eSIM with PIX? The Honest Answer (2026)
We do not accept PIX or Brazilian bank transfer today — card only. What works from Brazil, what to check before buying, and what invoice we issue.
Short answer: not today. eSIM Ahora accepts card only (debit or credit, via Stripe). We do not accept PIX, Brazilian bank transfer or boleto. Crypto payment exists in the product but is switched off in production.
We put it in the first line because the cost of not saying it is paid by whoever reaches the checkout expecting a PIX QR code.
What works from Brazil
A Visa or Mastercard at the Brazil plans checkout. The charge is made in euros and your bank applies the conversion, plus whatever IOF your issuer charges on international purchases. It is worth checking that the card has foreign purchases enabled — that is the most frequent reason one is declined.
If you have no international card
We are not going to list methods we do not offer. Outside us there are two real routes: a virtual card from a wallet running on the Visa/Mastercard network, or having someone else buy it — the eSIM installs on whichever phone you name, it is not tied to the payer.
Two things to check before paying
Neither depends on the payment method, and together they are the most common cause of a purchase that turns out useless.
That the phone takes an eSIM. iOS: Settings → Cellular → "Add Cellular Plan" (iPhone XS/XR from 2018 onward). Android: Settings → Connections → SIM Manager (Pixel 3+, Galaxy S20+). The handset must be carrier-unlocked.
That you switch on Data Roaming for the eSIM line. Travel eSIMs arrive with roaming off; without it you get bars and no data.
Invoicing
We issue a Spanish invoice: issuer tax ID, your tax ID if you provide it, VAT breakdown. Valid for deduction in Spain and the EU. It is not a Mexican CFDI or any other local electronic invoice. SAT and AFIP requirements are set out in Holafly Invoice: How to Get One + VAT Deduction Limits.

Yes, if you already hold one — but it is topped up by card, so it does not solve having no card.
