Djezzy (Optimum Telecom), Mobilis (state-owned) and Ooredoo (Wataniya) are the three main Algerian operators. Steady 4G coverage across Algiers, Oran, Constantine, Annaba and Sétif. 5G in trials but not commercial in 2025. Mobilis leads nationwide coverage including remote zones; Djezzy strong on urban 4G. The Mediterranean coast (Tipaza, Béjaïa, Skikda) has good coverage. The Algerian Sahara: Ghardaïa, Tamanrasset and Djanet have 4G in towns; far dunes and oases can have weak signal. Local SIMs require biometric registration — international eSIMs skip the paperwork. Type C/F European plugs, 230V/50Hz.
