Airtel Malawi and TNM (Telekom Networks Malawi) are the two main operators. 4G coverage across Lilongwe (capital), Blantyre (commercial center), Mzuzu, Zomba and Lake Malawi shore zones. Airtel typically has wider nationwide coverage; TNM competes in urban areas. Liwonde reserve and Nyika Plateau park have reasonable coverage at lodges and entrances; safaris in deep interior can have weak signal.
