Sweden has three main carriers: Telia Sverige (historic state operator, largest nationwide coverage with 5G), Tele2 (broad urban 5G), and Tre (3 Sweden, Hutchison subsidiary, best value). The eSIM Ahora connects to the strongest network. Plugs are Type C and F (standard European Schuko, same as Denmark), 230V. 4G/5G coverage reaches Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Uppsala, Linköping, and most of the SJ rail network (Stockholm-Gothenburg-Malmö X 2000). In Norrland (deep north, Swedish Lapland) coverage follows main highways E4 and E10.
Stockholm Arlanda (ARN), Gothenburg Landvetter (GOT), and Malmö (MMX) airports offer unlimited free WiFi. The currency is the Swedish krona (SEK, not euro — Sweden has NOT adopted the euro despite EU membership); Swedbank, SEB, and Handelsbanken ATMs accept foreign cards with no commission up to 5000 SEK. Tips are 5-10% (not mandatory — included in prices). Sweden is practically cashless — Swish (mobile payments) and cards dominate, some cafés refuse cash. Bolt and Uber work in major cities. ICA, Coop, and Willys are supermarkets — cheaper than restaurants in expensive Sweden.
